The Town awarded the contract for an accessibility-focused redesign of Town Hall to FBM Architecture Ltd., in association with A.H. Roy & Associates. The intent of this project has been to investigate the possibility of a comprehensive redesign of the main floor of Town Hall to determine if the building could meet or exceed modern accessibility standards, improve security, and optimize space for staff and public use.
As a part of this project, we’d like to have guidance from the community, particularly those who live with a disability. We need your perspective; your voice, to ensure Town Hall can serve everyone.
Town Hall was constructed in 1905. This redesign will address longstanding accessibility challenges and the need for improved safety and operational efficiency.
