Volunteer Awards
Every year, the Town of Antigonish accepts nominations for a volunteer of the year as well as a youth volunteer of the year.
The Volunteer of the Year Nominee, must:
- Be a resident of the Town of Antigonish
- Have made a significant contribution as a volunteer for at least two years
- Have displayed strong leadership abilities while volunteering
- Be willing to accept public recognition if selected as Volunteer of the Year
The Youth Volunteer of the Year Nominee must:
- Live in the Town of Antigonish
- Be between the ages of 13 and 24 as of July 1 the year the nomination is made
- Have made significant contributions as a volunteer
- Be willing to accept public recognition if selected as Youth Volunteer of the Year
