On Tuesday, September 5, 2023, Antigonish Town Council gave First Reading to the new Nuisance Party By-Law.

The by-law is intended to set parameters around what defines a Nuisance Party and the penalties associated with these types of large gatherings.

The Town intends to consider, and if deemed appropriate, give second and final reading to adopt the Nuisance Party By-Law at an upcoming Special Council meeting in October 2023.
