Sisters of St. Martha celebrate 125 Years

Founded in Antigonish in 1900, the Sisters of St. Martha have touched countless lives through their dedication to education, healthcare, pastoral ministry, social justice, and community service.
Their unwavering commitment to compassion, hospitality, and caring for those in need has helped shape our community and left a lasting legacy across Nova Scotia and beyond.
In recognition of their extraordinary contributions and enduring impact, we have proclaimed Wednesday, July 29, 2026, as Sisters of St. Martha Day in the Town of Antigonish.
