Over the last several years, the Town has been making improvements to the Creighton Lane Parking Lot to enhance safety, accessibility, and overall functionality.
These upgrades have included:
- Removal of parking meters
- Removal of planter boxes that had become overgrown and damaged
- Construction of a new concrete pad for parking kiosk
- Installation of new bollards
- Lines have been painted including updated accessible parking spots
- Updated parking signage throughout the lot
While parking has remained free during these improvements, that is about to change.
Starting Monday, August 24, the new parking kiosk will be activated. Paid parking is required Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. The rate will remain $0.50 per hour for a maximum of 3 hours.
The spaces located along the outside perimeter of the lot will remain free.
Once the new kiosk becomes active, parking enforcement will resume, and motorists are encouraged to review signage and park accordingly.
