On Tuesday, May 19 and Wednesday, May 20, both lanes of traffic on West Street (from James Street to Highland Drive) will be closed for paving. There will be a detour in place via Fairview Street. The Town of Antigonish apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates your patience as crews finish this phase of West Street.
As work on the Bay Street Project continues, there will be traffic control in place on Wednesday, May 20, Thursday, May 21, and Friday, May 22.
Public Notice Reminder: Hydrant Flushing Continues Today - May 15, 2026
Our team is flushing hydrants in the following locations today: Cloverville Road, Cedar Terrance, and at the sewer treatment plant on the east end of Main Street.
