The Town has been made aware of several incidents where bottle caps with dry wall screws are being placed under parked vehicles in and around the downtown area. When the driver pulls away the screws puncture the tire causing significant damage as well as safety concerns.
The Town of Antigonish is advising residents of a water main break on College Street. Residents and businesses on College Street (from Brookland Street heading out towards Cloverville) and surrounding areas may experience no or low water pressure and water discoloration until repairs are complete.
Construction continues on West Street for the Active Transportation Trail. Traffic control measures will be in place on Monday, August 26 and Tuesday, August 27 which will include a detour for outbound traffic coming from downtown.
The Town is advising residents there will be construction taking place on West Street for the Active Transportation Trail on Thursday, July 25 beginning at 9 a.m.
