On Monday, December 18, 2023, Antigonish Town Council gave Second and Final reading to a new Marketing Levy By-Law. The Marketing Levy By-Law plays a crucial role in supporting various initiatives aimed at promoting our vibrant community and attracting visitors to our town as outlines in our new Antigonish Tourism Strategy. The purpose of this by-law is to impose a three percent marketing levy on fixed roof accommodation booked within the Town of Antigonish.

Or  pdf click here (503 KB) to access the PDF version of the Registration Form. Please fill it out and submit it by mail, email, or by dropping it off to Town Hall. Copies of the By-Law can also be picked up at the front counter of Town Hall at 274 Main Street, Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

Please note, if you own multiple properties within the Town, you will need to register each property individually. 

Once we receive your Registration Form, a certificate confirming your registration and a copy of the Remittance Form that you will use monthly, will be mailed to you. Our goal is to have registrations complete by March 31, 2024. Every Operator must apply for and obtain a registration certificate under this By-law.
