Public Notice - Short Power Outages for Transformer Replacements
Please be advised that from July 28 to July 31, 2025, the Town of Antigonish Electric Utility will be conducting transformer replacements as part of the ongoing Grid Modernization Project.
As a result, short-duration power outages can be expected in the following areas for residential customers only:
Brookland St., College St., Victoria St., St. Mary’s St., Court St., West St., Highland Drive, St. Ninian’s St.
Traffic control measures will be in place. To ensure residents are informed, Town Electric Utility staff will be conducting door-to-door notifications on the day of the outage.
